HISTORY ASPECTS:The Henschel Hs 126A-1 was a reconnaissance and observation aircraft utilized by the Luftwaffe during World War II. Piloted by Hannes Gaub with observer Gerd Schroder - the aircraft served with 1.(H)/14 - a Luftwaffe reconnaissance squadron. The Hs 126A-1 played a crucial role in gathering intelligence and providing aerial reconnaissance support for German ground forces during the initial stages of the campaign. In the invasion of Poland - the Henschel Hs 126A-1 operated in demanding combat conditions - conducting reconnaissance missions over enemy territory to gather vital information about enemy troop movements - positions - and defenses. Despite facing opposition from Polish anti-aircraft defenses and enemy fighters - the aircraft's crew demonstrated courage and resourcefulness in completing their missions and relaying critical intelligence back to German command. This 1:72 scale model offers enthusiasts the opportunity to commemorate the aircraft's service in the early stages of World War II. With accurate detailing and authentic markings representing the aircraft's appearance during the invasion of Poland - this replica serves as a tribute to the bravery and dedication of the Luftwaffe pilots and crews who operated in challenging combat conditions.
