Commissioned in June 1944 - the USS Missouri played a pivotal role in World War II - particularly in the Pacific theater. The ship became famous as the site of the Japanese surrender ceremony on its deck in Tokyo Bay - officially ending the war. The Missouri's impressive firepower - advanced technology - and robust construction made it a symbol of American naval might during this era. After World War II - the USS Missouri was decommissioned but was later reactivated to serve in the Korean War - providing naval gunfire support for ground forces. Subsequently - the battleship was placed in reserve but underwent modernization in the 1980s - bringing it back into service during Operation Desert Storm in 1991. The Missouri contributed its firepower once again - launching Tomahawk missiles and conducting naval bombardments in support of coalition forces. The 1:700 scale Waterline display version model is designed for waterline display - allowing enthusiasts to showcase the ship's impressive profile without the need for a full hull. With meticulous attention to detail - this replica features the Missouri's main and secondary armaments - radar systems - and other distinctive elements that make it a standout addition to any naval history or military model collection.

https://vroomvroom.toys/products/uss-missouri-bb-63-iowa-class-battleship-battle-of-okinawa-1945-united-states-navy-waterline-edition-battleship-series-1-700-diecast-model-by-forces-of-valor
